About

Hi there! I’m Kate!

Welcome to the Where Mothers Gather blog 💛

I’m a 25-year-old wife and first-time mom to a beautiful baby boy, with a passion to create meaningful connection and community between mothers both near and far.

My idea for this blog began on my own desire to step out of my comfort zone as a brand new mom and search for a deeper connection with other mothers in my community, and (hopefully) around the world!

As mothers, I feel we often find ourselves looking for friendships with other mothers to lean on as we either step into this new phase of our lives, or continue with the ebbs and flows that come with already having children. Sometimes, finding those friendships can be hard, and even a little scary.

I wanted to create a small community to serve as a place for moms to gather virtually to share stories and ideas comfortably, find relatability with one another, giggle over funny things that have happened, and share in solidarity over the sometimes more mundane days. And, an intimate blog space felt like the best place to foster that community.

From chatting about deeper topics like discovering your new identity in motherhood to more casual topics like sharing my favorite home-cooked comfort meals; there really are no limits to what we’ll chat about! This blog is meant to serve as a fun and safe space for ALL mothers to gather.

I hope you’ll join in me in this journey.

Happy reading!

A Short Bit About Me!

✨ My favorite way to begin my day is with an early morning walk and a delicious iced coffee (I’m guilty of always being found at a coffeeshop!).

✨ I’m in the midst of a crafting journey, trying to find what pass time suits me best – currently in the coloring world of things right now 🖍

✨ I run a small side gig selling flowers out of a super cute, little blue truck bed trailer I found on Facebook Marketplace!

✨ Traveling is one of my favorite things to do. Favorite trip so far = Ireland!!!  🇨🇮

✨ My husband and I have been together for six years, and married for two!

✨ We have a very sweet and spunky black-and-white spotted dog named Maisy!
